Here are three, including one that you can do online!

First, the World Famous Cannabis Cafe celebrates its third anniversary at 322 SE 82nd Avenue, Potland, OR 97216 and 710 with a special performance from Lipbone Redding. This will be his second visit to the cafe. The event takes place on July 10, 2013 at 7:10 pm. From his website:

“He weaves funky rhythms, catchy original songs, brash humor, soulful singing, and inventive guitar playing with exotic and percussive vocal sounds such as throat singing, bass and beat-boxing, and his astonishingly realistic lip-tromboning. The result is an experience that is hypnotic, groovy and, for a solo artist without the aid of electronic efx, amazingly complete.”

Justin James Bridges will also perform to celebrate the digital launch of his new CD, “Medication Recreation.” Since his move to the Pacific Northwest from Texas, he has been involved with the Occupy movement as a sign language interpreter as well as donating performances to the cannabis community for fund raisers and events across Washington, Oregon and California.

While he performs at the cafe, Bridges’ new CD will launch online, a second 710 celebration. Justin is a long-time supporter of the World Famous Cannabis Cafe, so it is very fitting that he perform his new songs live for the first time on the cafe stage. His unique Texas Blues infused style combined with his lyrics that reflect his love of cannabis make him a must-have addition to any weedist’s musical collection. For those of you who can’t make it to Potland, the album will be available to download on 710 from the event page on Facebook.

The third party in Potland is PDX 710 at The Refuge, 116 SE Yamhill St, Potland, Oregon 97214. Tickets are available on the Facebook event page and here. This first-time event features a “Dab-Off,” with a judges’ pass for $50 and a glass competition, where guests can vote on their favorites. Live music includes Worlds Finest, Dark Matter Transfer, Twisted Whistle and a special set by DJ Mike Gong. An array of glass and goody vendors will be a highlight of this event that starts at 4:20 pm, of course.

Are you celebrating, too?
