Weed Lifestyle

So here the title says it all. I happened to be baked and walking around the Seattle Center when I caught an ad for Laser Dubstep at Pacific Science Center.

SCORE- I immediately bought a ticket for that evening’s show.

A retired veteran of the EDM party scene, I’m no stranger to loud sounds, lights and inebriation, so I decided to hit it hard beforehand. I went in operating on a fatty dab of OG Kush Shatter and a spliff of NYC Diesel. With my Sour Patch Kids and Vitamin Water XXX in hand, I waited for the lights to dim.

They did and 20 seconds later my pupils looked like kaleidoscopes, and BASS was shaking my skeleton. The experience really is badass, especially on weed; the soundtrack was Skrillex Bangarang from end-to-end (right on- I’m a fan).

I was also delighted to learn that the show is drawn live by a “laser artist.” Imagine being in a planetarium with a guy drawing pictures in laser beams while subs are thumping; he does a fine job crafting a narrative to match the songs that have lyrics.

If you’re around the Space Needle, you should check this out. For those curious, though the show was late it was absolutely PG and family-friendly.  It is not for young ones with an 11:30P start time, but an absolutely warm, safe and secure environment.
