Cannabis Facts

http://stopcigarettes.net/anatomy-of-a-cigarette/I don’t know about you, but I’m a little tired of hearing comparisons of corporate-made, old-fashioned cigarettes to a 100% medical-quality cannabis joint.  Once in a while in my early days of weed exposure, I had a cigarette or three while we passed around a joint because cigarettes were plentiful. Now I think about the crap that is in those store-bought cigarettes and I want those years of my life back.  (image: StopCigarettes.net)

Do you know what is in a cigarette?  Take a guess… ok, how about:

  • Acetone (nail polish remover)
  • Acetic Acid (vinegar)
  • Ammonia (toilet cleaner)
  • Arsenic (rat poison)
  • Benzene (gasoline additive)
  • Methanol (jet fuel)
  • Methane (sewer gas)
  • Nicotine (insecticide)
  • Stearic Acid (candle wax)
  • Tar
  • Toluene (industrial solvent)
  • and our favorite… Hydrogen Cyanide (gas chamber poison, tasty!)

With that list of nasty chemicals, I’ll take my 100% medical-quality cannabis joints any day of the week.

How about you?  Do you smoke cigarettes when you smoke weed?  Do you smoke spliffs (hand rolled tobacco + cannabis)?  If you haven’t guessed, I’m a purest.
